Prolong Pumps & Valves has been active in the reconditioning and remanufacturing fields for more than thirteen years. The objective of the company is to provide to industry a repair service and products of exceptional quality. Our workshops are able to assess and repair any part made from practically any material, with the added bonus that our Durwa Coated part will be superior to the original components.

Parts treated by the Durwa Coating process benefit from a surface hardness of 70 Rockwell C compareds to 32 Rockwell C for stainless steel. This experience has proven that the life of these parts will outlast the original by four times. We also treat new components for mining houses to increase the life of their new equipment such as impellers, sleeves, shafts, plungers and volute casings.

A sound and secure maintenance and repair service is offered. This impacts positively on year end balance sheets since effective maintenance management limits costly downtime and increases productivity. By means of Prolong involvement in their plants and equipment, our clients have greatly increased the life of many components.

Formed in 1985, Prolong specialises in the reconditioning and remanufacturing of valve and pump components. The technical facility and workshops are able to assess and repair parts that have been subjected to the most aggressive of applications.
